Career Objective: To become involved in a school district in a way which allows for me to raise the quality of education for as many students as possible
Residence: Uxbridge, MA
Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy focuses on the creation of goal-based units with student-centered lessons. Teachers are responsible for both the academic and social development of their students and should provide an inclusive and challenging environment for students in order to foster growth. Students in my classes are engaged in the material directly whenever possible, and their learning is enhanced through accommodations and scaffolding techniques such as graphic organizers and templates. Students need to develop healthy and professional relationships with their instructors if they are to respect and collaborate with them in their high school career. I believe that this relationship is crucial to the maintenance of a challenging and positive environment. When students have healthy relationships with their instructors and their peers, they are more directed towards the goals of the teaching staff and the school's mission.
